[Bug 561994] [NEW] frozen screen when starting unplugged from power chord with ATI graphics

as described in the #509273 I had some problems with the switch to KMS and my ATI graphics card. Now seems all ok,but if I boot up on battery power I run into the same problems with the same symptoms. It boots up but before login screen the notbook freeze and nothing can be done. The same if I start into the rescue console and start there "startx".
It didn't help to gave the kernel the "nomodeset" option.
