I had this happen again this morning and had a chance to try out some of
the suggested workarounds in this thread an so I thought I would also
add that NONE of them work for me! When I bring up the windows options
menu it doesn't get focus so I can never select "Move". Using KDE I can
do kwin --replace and it works for like 2 seconds before it all breaks
again. Also it does not seem to be Xinerama specific or Nvidia specific
because I have had it happen on my other machine that is neither dual
monitor nor an nvidia card. This bug is getting really irritating and
starting make me question Ubuntu's stability which is something I used
to be a huge advocate for.
