[Bug 486056] Re: [i945gme] Setting up dual-head of exactly 2048 pixels wide ends up with a black screen. Setting it up with more than 2048 pixels crashes X
Using 10.04 Beta 2. I can set up my dual-monitors with a total desktop
size of 2624 x 1500, but the advanced graphics are all off. When I use
System>Preferences>Appearance>Visual Effects to use Extra graphics, a
loading bar comes up, the screen flickers, apparently nothing happens,
and then the Appearance application freezes. When I kill the
application and try again, it says "Desktop effects could not be
enabled."
