[Bug 355559] [NEW] [i945] poor performance on desktop and unable to use compiz

Yesterday I installed a fresh 8.10 on my computer. I set my LCD screen
as main screen and I disable laptops screen. I enable compiz and it
works as expected.

Then I set the monitor resolution to 1680x1050 and I loose compiz.

Today, I upgrade to Jaunty 9.04, still no compiz, but the display
performace is really poor. Very sloppy when I move windows.

Plus, some times, I have an horizontal white line, about 100-200 pixels,
when moving a window.
