Message #65956
[Bug 500810] Re: Ubuntu sometimes logs me out before login process is completed
Chris, I've tried to reproduce this bug by setting the rate at 60Hz and
70Hz (default is 75Hz with which I've never had any problems). I don't
seem to be able to reproduce it. What I am going to do now is to leave
the setting at 60Hz so that I may encounter it. I'll also keep logging
in/out whenever possible to try to reproduce it. (I plan to upgrade to
Lucid a few days after it releases, so I'll have to try to find it now
if ever).
In the meanwhile, if by looking at the error you have any suspicions of
what might have been causing the problem or what I could try in order to
reproduce the error, please let me know and I will try them. For your
convenience, I've pasted the error message below:
home-ubuntu login [ 123.468049] [drm: i810_wait_ring] *ERROR* space: 65520 wanted 65528
[ 123.468124][drm: i810_wait_ring] *ERROR* lockup
