[Bug 548891] Re: keyboard input broken due to invalid "SKIP" keyboard model
I set XKBMODEL="SKIP" in '/etc/default/console-setup' and restarted.
This does not cause the keyboard problem to return at login for me.
> sudo DISPLAY=:0 xprop -root |grep NAMES.S
>_XKB_RULES_NAMES(STRING) = "evdev", "SKIP", "us", "", "terminate:ctrl_alt_bksp"
