Message #66497
[Bug 565866] [NEW] nVidia driver scrambles Usplash
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
If the (Version current recommended) nVidia driver is activated the
Usplash is thin lines of scrambled pixels upon reboot. De activating the
nVidia driver (restoring to default driver) brings back the expected
Usplash and messaging. 100% repeatable, AMD64 Ubuntu lucid updated 10:30
GMT Sun 18th Apr
Impact: If a disk check or any other messaging is presented the user
will not be able to read it. Closely scrutinised one or two pixels can
be seen to change but the general appearance is of a hung system.
** Affects: nvidia-graphics-drivers (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
