The files in /usr/lib/dri come from the libgl1-mesa-dri package, which
is a dependency of xorg which is a dependency of ubuntu-desktop and
ubuntu-netbook.

Could you check that you have this package installed?  What is the
output of “apt-cache policy libgl1-mesa-dri”?
