When I enabled visual effects, all of my menu items in all OO 3 apps
disappear. They are replaced with lines but no menu choices. Have
enabled emerald under windows decorations and still no change. I am very
new to Ubuntu. As long as no effects are enabled then all open office
menu items show up.
