I have tested the AOC monitor connected to the Asus EEE pc 701 with the
released version of lucid and the highest resolution supported is 1440
by 900. Both 1920 and 1680 give a scrambled picture in the Monitor
applet in preferences. Note that my older asrock desktop with nvidia
geforce 7600 connected to the AOC monitor works at 1920 and 1680 running
lucid. I tried to use apport-collect 441850 but I got a strange error:
Package xorg-server not installed and no hook available, ignoring. Uname
-a gives: Linux david-coggins-unr 2.6.32-22-generic.
