[Bug 575943] Re: intel gma x3100 causes many gui issues ubuntu lucid 10.04

apport information

** Tags added: apport-collected

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

- After installing Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 with the newest updates I noticed
- when I attempted opening quadrapassel (gnome tetris) the gui freezes
- before it fully loads then slowly the graphics start coming in but in
- the end the game in completely unplayable and the gui locks down making
- me unable to close the game. I have also noticed when using vlc I will
- press pause and the song will pause but the graphic never changes from
- the play sign to the pause sign, its as if the gui gets locked. As for
- online flash videos every thing seems to work fine. I tried using the
- xorg edgers crack pushers ppa to see if it will fix the problem and it
- did fully fix all the problems except those drivers cause flash to
- freeze on full screen video. I have never had any Intel problems with
- Karmic Koala so I know it is something with the lucid driver for the
- Intel x3100 gm965 chipset.
