[Bug 368915] Re: DVI resolution wrong, VGA is OK, using same monitor

This bug is still present in Lucid. The output from xrandr is slightly
different but it still does not see the DVI input of this monitor.
Below is the xrandr output for the two cases connected as a VGA monitor
and as a DVI monitor.

This is xrandr output while connected to the VGA input, DVI unplugged:

Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1440 x 1800, maximum 4096 x 4096
VGA1 connected 1440x900+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 408mm x 255mm

LVDS1 connected 1440x900+0+900 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 367mm x 230mm
   1440x900 59.9*+

   1024x768 60.0
   800x600 60.3
   640x480 59.9
DVI1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
TV1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)

Note the last 3 lines above. These lines do not always appear. Perhaps
it is a timing issue where the DVI information is coming from the
monitor after xrandr has timed out and has determined the DVI is not
connected. I have enclosed the same files you requested before but now
running under Lucid.
