I  installed 10.04 with my Wacom Graphirre 2 Tablet plugged in with no
issues whatsoever.

I DID however have the problem described and reported the fact back prior to 9.04 and from memory it was widely
reported and I haven't had issues since.

>From memory the way around it at the time that was suggested was to use the Alt version of of the distro at install instead of the
desktop and everything worked okay.

As I say I have had my tablet plugged in for the past 2 versions for
sure and have not had problems
