[Bug 577764] [NEW] Synaptic touchpad settings do change but have no effect on behavior
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Binary package hint: synaptic
the problem occured with lucid upgrade, formerly it was ok (using
synclient + syndaemon did what it should).
With lucid neither synclient, nor kcm-touchpad nor xorg.conf changes
seem to have any effect on the behavior of the touchpad.
When i change the settings in kcm-touchpad module and check with
"synclient -l" the settings are indeed changed, however, they have no
effect, at least the sensitivity and enable/disable alltogether do not
work.
** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
