I have a similar problem since upgrading to 10.04 (final) with a Nvidia
GeForce Go 6150. The problem only occurs when booting from battery. It
boots fine when the AC cord is in. It can still boot in failsafe mode on
battery. When booting regularly on battery, I get a black screen and
nothing happens. If resuming to terminal from recovery mode, I can use
terminal but will get a black screen if trying to start X. Several other
