[Bug 574034] Re: google earth does not render any zoom level with ATI Radeon Xpress 200M video graphics adaptor

Hi everyone,

I happen to have the same exact problem with a radeon XPRESS 200M 5955, also on a presario V2000 notebook.
I tried compiling the latest xserver-xorg-ati from git, but it didn't solve the issue...
Apparently this is KMS-related, I haven't tried disabling it yet.
I'm also reporting, with the same card, etracer crashing before displaying any 3D with this error:
[73960.752864] [drm:radeon_cs_ioctl] *ERROR* Failed to parse relocation -12!
(I'm having no issue with fullscreen youtube playback though)
Glxgears is a meager ~3000 fps
