[Bug 582206] [NEW] Ubuntu crashes and automatically logout

Description: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS

Ubuntu crashes, the screen gets black, the mouse pointer is visible but
cannot be moved, after a few seconds the system is logged out and the
login prompt appears.
I upgraded from 9.x to 10.04 a couple of days ago. The problem occurred
soon after the upgrade.
When the problem happened, I was running:
Firefox
Shell
Revelation 0.4.11
Nautilus
Evolution
I also had an active 3G connection to my mobile phone via a USB cable.
The problem happens several times a day; at least five times during a
normal working day.
