[Bug 584733] [NEW] Horizontal tearing in GNOME
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
I have two HD5870s in CrossfireX, with the drivers recommended by
Ubuntu.
I am getting extremely bad tearing in GNOME when I drag something across
the screen even when the effects are turned off. I have tried using
compiz config-settings-manager to change the settings but it didn't
remove the problem (only made it different). Enabling v-sync in the ATI
control panel also has no effect, nor does disabling CrossfireX.
I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS x64.
** Affects: fglrx-installer (Ubuntu)
