Applied the patch as listed by vanzylst. (And had to sort out about 40 dependencies to be able to build xorg-server.) Did not change a thing for me though.
Worked around the problem by making my leftmost monitor 'screen 0' instead of the middle one... (Got a 3 screen setup on Lucid with 2 Nvidia cards.)
