[Bug 541492] Re: MASTER: [i845] GPU lockup (apport-crash) (Should KMS be blacklisted?)
In Brian Rogers' ppa two knew kernels have been build, linux-
image-2.6.34-drm-generic and linux-image-2.6.34-v9patch-generic.
Unfortunately those too freeze my Dell Optiplex GX60 with
82845G/GL[Brookdale-G]/GE (rev 01) the same way as the 2.6.34-52 kernel
did, i.e. at the first mode switch. As I lost my patience a bit I
started bisecting drm-intel-next. The culprit for my i845 specific
freezes is commit 7fff400 Tue, 20 Apr 2010 03:16:04 Merge branch 'drm-
fbdev-cleanup' into drm-core-next. I will have a look at the commits in
that branch.
