[Bug 298532] Re: [i965] reflection plugin freezes systems with Intel GM965
I have a duplicate bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/591015
When I enable 'reflection' via cssm gui, it logs me out of the desktop and sends me to the login page. Every time I login, it returns to the login page, saying x could not be started. As soon as I booted in failsafe mode and de-selected 'reflection', ubuntu has been fine ever since. I have attached output of /var/log/Xorg.0.log.
It seems that the monitor's vertical and horizontal synch rates go out of range when the 'reflection' plugin is enabled, hence xserver not starting.
** Attachment added: "Xorg.0.log.txt.tar.gz"
