Message #77746
[Bug 479624] Re: One screen only with Matrox G450 dual head
Only detect one one screen in Lucid - hence cloned displays.
The displays are fine though:
Extract from lshw:
*-display
description: VGA compatible controller
product: MGA G400/G450
vendor: Matrox Graphics, Inc.
physical id: 5
bus info: pci@0000:01:05.0
version: 82
width: 32 bits
clock: 33MHz
capabilities: pm agp agp-2.0 bus_master cap_list rom
configuration: driver=matrox_w1 latency=64 maxlatency=32 mingnt=16
resources: irq:11 memory:f8000000-f9ffffff(prefetchable) memory:f7000000-f7003fff memory:f6800000-f6ffffff memory:f7fe0000-f7ffffff(prefetchable)
xrandr only detects screen 0
Above ppas etc. appear to require xorg-server which I can't find in
Lucid.
Anything else useful I can provide?
