[Bug 595158] [NEW] Synaptics touchpad lock toogle freeze menu (Ubuntu 10.04)

After I hit the touchpad lock the menu freezes (restart needed).
It works fine on 9.10.
I've tried to remove  “xserver-xorg-input-synaptics" pakage but the problem persists.
Disabling touchpad using an applet it works properly.

This bug affects (in other forms) Kubuntu, Xubuntu and Fedora 13!
I think it's a kernel problem!
