As a data point, since adding the x-swat repository (deb
http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates/ubuntu lucid main) some
3 weeks ago, I no longer see any of the "GPU hung" messages (or indeed,
any other X errors) --- eeepc 901, lucid.
