Hm. That's an interesting data point. I suspect that flash is
mis-detecting hardware 3D acceleration, which neither nv nor nouveau
provide in Lucid. Nouveau in the xorg-edgers PPA has a build of
nouveau's 3D support in the libgl1-dri-gallium package. If you're
comfortable installing the packages from that PPA it might be
interesting to see if that resolves this.
Failing that, it seems like this is going to be a bug in flash rather
than in either the nv or nouveau driver.
