Message #79995
[Bug 570879] Re: OpenGL graphic errors in google earth
I have the same problem with ATI Mobility X1250.
Some notices:
The problem appears always in Google Earth and Neverball, only after a
few mouse-clicks in Blender (but never with orthographic projection),
and never in Danger from the Deep for example.
Only the vertices off the screen are projected wrong, 'visible' ones are always correct in every application.
(In a C++ application of mine, gluProject/gluUnproject gives wrong results with off-screen coordinates too.)
I have direct rendering, and enabling/disabling the compositing of
Metacity doesn't matter.
I have deleted my xorg.conf (no change), the system is 32 bit Ubuntu 10.4, upgraded since 9.04.
Linux 2.6.32-23-generic, xserver-xorg-video-ati package version is 1:6.13.0-1ubuntu5.
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI R300 (RS690 791F) 20090101 x86/MMX+/3DNow!+/SSE2 NO-TCL DRI2
OpenGL version string: 1.5 Mesa 7.7.1
