[Bug 605124] Re: [965gm] "No screens" on startup: "DRM_IOCTL_I915_GEM_APERTURE failed: Bad file descriptor"

 

I saw the line 
Pid: 343, comm: plymouthd Not tainted 2.6.35-7-generic #12-Ubuntu 7764CTO/7764CTO
in the dmesg output, so I tried to remove the kernel options "quiet splash", but to no avail. dmesg looks the same to me, but is attached.
