  Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau
  
  Same bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-180/+bug/600178 but with nouveau driver.
- nouveau properly detect screen resolution and refresh rate, but video playback, glxgears in fullscreen mode and dragging windows affected tearing effect. Tested in Lucid and Maverick with GT216M and GeForce 7300 video adapters.
