  Hello, I am using a Gateway NV5927U laptop and the screen brightness is
  unchangeable via the keyboard controls.  The brightness is stuck at 100%
  and changing values inside of /proc/acpi/video/GFX0 have no effect on
  the brightness.  Please let me know what else you may need.  If the
- brightness is changed inside of Microsoft Windows it will visually stays
