[Bug 620278] Re: random Xorg crash
Hello Robert,
The bugs that are just assigned to Ubuntu are a lot, so we are always
trying to classify them. I don't really know if this is a problem on
xorg or kdm, and I could have made a mistake. But assigning the most
probable package is a good idea because it will call the attention to
developers of that application who can guide us to find if it is an xorg
problem or not. If with the traces we find that the problem is not in
xorg we can always change the package :)
Please follow the instructions at [1] and attach the gdb-Xorg.txt. If you have doubts about the debugging process you can ask here or on #ubuntu-bugs and somebody will help you.
With that information, somebody with more knowledge about xorg than me can continue working on the bug with you.
And I'll add a link to [1] on [2] . Thanks for pointing it out.
