Message #85115
[Bug 430027] Re: compal JHL90's hotkeys not recognized
apport information
** Tags added: apport-collected
** Description changed:
Hotkeys found on a Compal JHL90 don't work out of the box. When pressed
the terminal says to use "setkeycodes" to configure them; changing
/etc/rc.local to this:
setkeycodes e078 182
setkeycodes e076 202
setkeycodes e075 173
setkeycodes e004 203
exit 0
makes them work properly.
this shouldn't be necessary, proper support should be added to ubuntu.
The issue is still present in Karmic alpha 5
