Me too ! :-)
I didn't try disabling kms, but am confident it would solve it ... but i
don't feel like messing it this now ... need a system that "just works"
(tm) ... so ... as the k in kms means "kernel" ... i think kms is under
active development since quiet some time (middle major), so somebody (??
*look around* ... kms gurus ??? ... ) could start sorting out aesthetic
issues like that one now ... :-) ... would be defenetly cool to have
googleearth working properly ... that bug is quiet old (> 1 year for me)
!
If anybody needs any further infos (logs, dumps, screenshots, whatever)
I'm available for help. kernel modesetting code is just out of reach for
my mind to grasp but i'll be happily applying kernel patches & such if
somebody throws one at me.
