After installing the restricted Nvidia driver computer freezes at a black screen during the boot stage. There are two graphic cards inside: an integrated one and Nvidia G210M. 
Maybe installing a newer driver downloaded directly from Nvidia could help but when I try to kill X
sudo /etc/init.d/gdm stop 
computer just freezes with some mismatched colours.
Windows can switch between those two cards. Maybe there could be a problem with Ubuntu?
