[Bug 630690] Re: Malformed patch, package nvidia-current 256.53-0ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: nvidia-current kernel module failed to build
It affects me too.
I resolved removing the script inside the file /var/lib/dkms/nvidia-current/256.53/source/patches/nvidia-2.6.36-ioctl.patch (leaving the empty patch inside the folder) then I replaced line 426 of /var/lib/dkms/nvidia-current/256.53/source/nv.c with ".unlocked_ioctl = nv_kern_unlocked_ioctl," and at the end I reinstalled linux kernel headers --> rebuild nvidia-current kernel module.
