ooops, read "I run a fresh 10.04 install".

Interestingly, I use another Dell PC with intel graphics. I tried to put
it to sleep and wake it, and I got the same problem. So it does not seem
to be related to nvidia, which would be coherent with all the reports
mentioning various nvidia drivers, both legacy and recent.
