Thanks. Could you now provide the same files when *not* booting with this
workaround?
One curious thing I notice in the plymouth log is that none of the renderers
load:
[./plugin.c] open_device:could not
open '/dev/fb0': No such file or directory
Can you confirm that when booting this way, you get a text-only plymouth
splash screen?
