Great - it happens that this captures the output both when running with
grub_gfxmode (efifb runs, vga16fb tryies to start and fails), and without
(vga16fb starts and claims fb0). In both cases, the only framebuffer we see
here is unrelated to the nvidia kernel module, which explains how gdm is
starting before nvidia is ready.
