Woot! if someone wants to desperately use unity on an RV515 they can try with ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa [thanks Sarvatt], but this might have other problems!
Or lets try getting an FFe for this and see what else breaks ?! :-D

Installed the following from edgers http://paste.ubuntu.com/495345/ and
unity works with a few artifacts though[under the top-panel and launcher
is not properly rendered].. attaching screenshot :-)
