Your logs attached are from a boot with 2.6.32, so they're of limited
debugging use.  Could you manage to collect logs (with “apport-collect
640432”) from a boot with 2.6.35?

You should hopefully be able to switch to a virtual terminal by pressing
Ctrl+Alt+F1 (or F2, F3, etc).

Failing that, the full /var/log/Xorg.0.log (it'll probably be
Xorg.0.log.old) from a boot with 2.6.35 and /var/log/kern.log would be
useful.
