[Bug 643118] [NEW] [RV350] xrandr exposes invalid 1360x768 mode

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Binary package hint: gdm

charles@charles-laptop:~$ lsb_release -rd
Description:	Ubuntu maverick (development branch)
Release:	10.10

After updating from the BETA release OR upon booting from the LiveCD,
the system will load through the Plymouth splash screen, then as the
desktop OR install dialogue SHOULD be loaded the screen goes corrupt.
It shows first vertical bands of black and white stripes of various
widths. Then the colors are loaded and the bands are the same but
colored.

I'm not sure if I'm filing this against the right package so this is a
WAG. If this is the wrong package then please point me to the correct
one.

Also, please direct me to any needed log files. I'm not sure what is
needed here. I'll have to barrow a camera to take a picture if you need
one. Obviously a screen shot isn't possible.

** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-ati (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Confirmed
