I have an ATI Radeon HD 4850 and same problem when upgrading from 10.04
to the 10.10 RC.

I've tried installing the latest Catalyst hotfix release but I still have the same Xorg segfault.
(I can't get on wifi though because I have no idea how to configured NetworkManager from the command line. nmcli doesn't actually let you _configure_ your networking.)
