DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu maverick (development branch)"
Thinkpad t43, radeon 9600 mobility with radeon driver
After update to maverick rc i cannot login to ubuntu-desktop, this cause a full freeze. The desktop appears solid colored without anything else, the pointer stills locked in the middle of the screen. The fan blows lot of heat, ctrl-alt-del, console keys and powerdown switch are ignored. The failsafe sessions runs well, i removed all start apps but the full desktop session crash every time at login.
Parallel installed netbook-remix run into blinking chess graphic trash with hot blowing fan but there i can reach the consoles to reset gdm.
