[Bug 655284] Re: bottom part of the touchpad is not working
@Igor,
I was just checking that it's correctly detected and the touch area misdetection doesn't interfere with Horizontal-Scrolling, the Bug is almost confirmed but we need to query for some info about the device and to confirm the misdetection, to do so:
Please run: xev >~xev
it will popup a small box, please put the arrow in it and try to touch the Undetected space, then close.
and
use the xinput --list to find your Touchpad's ID, it should print something like this:
⎜ ↳ Touchpad/Synaptics id=10 [slave pointer (2)]
now get id=<ID>, and put it into the following command and run:
xinput --list-props <ID> >~/xinput
Then attach the 'xev' and 'xinput' to this Bug report.
