This bug is specific to pre-GeForce-6 cards. Please note that the
nvidia-current driver branch (currently at 260.19.06) are not compatible
with these older cards at all, so the older, version 173 branch must be
used. The problem here is that this older driver is incompatible with
Xorg 1.9, which is introduced in maverick.
