[Bug 658685] [NEW] touchpad not recognised Sony Vaio VPCEE2S1E on Ubuntu Maverick Meerkat

The touchpad on my Sony Vaio is not recognized after either booting from
the live CD, or after a fresh install. A USB mouse works when connected.
Below is the result of cat /proc/bus/input/devices, the bottom option
being the USB mouse that I have attached to the laptop.
