  First, i thought i had this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/346310
  But for the original bugreporter, maverick solved all the issues. For me, a fresh maverick install (no upgrade) doesnt help. This is the behavior:
  
  1) suspend
  2) resume, quite fast, only 2 seconds, and i see desktop and can type, video & sound are working (resumed while playing video)
  3) it takes about 5 more seconds that mouse movements are working.
