i guys you will not believe this, but I think I might have managed to
make this bug reproducible - an important step to getting it fixed.

So in figuring this out, I have produced the following in dmesg:

And the test case is to open a specific image in Firefox (does not
happen in the gnome image viewer).  I must have stumbled across several
images that trigger this, and the following is a good example:

Since I have basically just told the world how to crash my PC, I would
now really like to get this defect marked as security threat and
escalated via the appropriate channels.

Does anyone know how to escalate a defect?
