[Bug 667430] Re: Hp Tx2510us synaptic touch pad does not work properly after it has been disabled/reenabled
Alright looking through the Xorg log it said that my touchpad was mapped
to /dev/input/event11 so that is what I used evtest for. Evtest didn't
do anything when turning the touchpad on and off, which I don't think it
is meant to, but just in case it didn't. It showed values for clicking
and moving every time I turned the pad on and off, so I think it is
still getting the inputs no problem. When in Gnome I can click on menus,
and they will get highlighted, but will not open, and once I click away
from the window I was currently in I can't interact with anything
afterwards including the window that gave me limited functionality. The
only interaction I can make is making the menus of the Gnome toolbar
highlight (but not actually open).
