[Bug 660887] Re: Scroll region at bottom edge of pad inoperable in maverick
I am having this same problem on lenovo thinkpad edge. Ubuntu 10.10
Bottom 1/4 of touchpad not responding. I did synclient -m 10 and
confirmed that there is no response on this area of the touchpad.
(synclient would not detect presses in this area) I found other posts
about this laptop having issues. The BottomEdge parameter defaults to
4500, which corresponds roughly to where the pad goes dead. When I
change this parameter to 5000 synclient still will not register touches
in this area. Let me know if I can feed you more data to help you track
down this issue.
