** Description changed:

- Using both Metacity with Compositing and Compiz, occasionally a dropdown
- menu does not get rendered. There is a workaround for each window
- manager: Metacity with Compositing disabled does not show the behavior
- described above, nor does Compiz with "Sync to VBlank" disabled. After
- resetting all settings I could think of (both xorg.conf and ~/.nvidia-
- settings-rc) this led me to the conclusion that compositing is, while
- not completely broken, at least flawed with the latest nvidia-current. I
- would be happy to provide any information that might be helpful, but
- cannot think of any logs, but if there is anything, let me know.
